Lead

• Lead position rides next to the centre line.
• Set the pace of the ride. Usually we try to stay fairly close to the speed limit.
• Know the route.
• Know basic hand signals.
• Know the phone # of your Sweep.

Sweep

• Keep an eye on the riders in the group.
• If a group rider stops – Sweep pulls over with them.
• Know the route.
• Know the phone # of your Lead.
