Group Rides - Roles of Lead and Sweep

Lead
- Lead position rides next to the centre line.
- Set the pace of the ride. Usually we try to stay fairly close to the speed limit.
- Know the route.
- Know basic hand signals.
- Know the phone # of your Sweep.
Sweep
- Keep an eye on the riders in the group.
- If a group rider stops – Sweep pulls over with them.
- Know the route.
- Know the phone # of your Lead.
